The kitchen launched pie delivery on 13 September 2022. Today you order ahead on the ordering site, delivery is by third-party drivers, the fee depends on distance and festive surcharges can apply, and the delivery time is best-effort, not guaranteed. The kitchen's home page mentions free islandwide delivery above $200.
The kitchen began delivering pies on 13 September 2022, according to its own blog post of that date. Four years on, the service looks different from the one the 2022 post described, and it is worth saying so out loud, because that old post is still findable and some of what it says is out of date.
What did the 2022 post say?
The launch post asked for orders at least 24 hours ahead and described a flat $15 islandwide fee. Neither of those is how the kitchen describes delivery now. If you have a screenshot of the 2022 terms, please do not rely on it.
How does delivery work today?
The terms below are the current general ones, written in plain words. They are as of October 2026, and the ordering site always has the live figure.
- You order ahead. Delivery is an advance order placed on the ordering site, and payment is taken when the order is placed. The ordering site takes credit cards, and pickup orders can also be settled by PayNow or bank transfer through WhatsApp.
- Drivers are third parties. The kitchen uses services such as Grab, Lalamove and GoGoX, among others.
- The fee depends on distance. It rises with festive peaks and for places such as Sentosa, the CBD, malls and Changi Airport.
- The slot is best-effort. The kitchen says it cannot specify an exact delivery time, and the slot is not guaranteed.
- There is a free-delivery threshold. The kitchen’s home page mentions free islandwide delivery above $200. Check that it applies to your order and the date you want.
- Same-day apps exist for some outlets. The kitchen’s menu page says instant delivery through GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo is available for Tyrwhitt Road, AMK Hub and Wisma Atria.
What about lead time?
The pages do not agree on one number. One product page says advance orders should be placed at least 90 minutes ahead, while the 2022 post said 24 hours. For anything seasonal, bulky or crab-based, plan well beyond either figure (the seasons calendar shows how short the windows are): whole crab dishes (see the crab page) need a day’s notice, the crab sharing sets need three hours, and festive items sell out. For a single pie on an ordinary day, check the ordering site for the earliest slot it will offer.
What happens when the pie arrives?
The kitchen says its pies are best eaten within four hours of purchase. If you need to keep one, it can be chilled for up to three days, and the shepherd’s pie should not be kept beyond three days. To reheat in an air fryer, the kitchen suggests 150C for five minutes, then 200C for five minutes. If you want a deeper treatment of reheating methods, a guide on how to reheat chicken pie compares the oven, air fryer and microwave.
The kitchen’s refund policy, summarised on our contact page, asks you to get in touch within two hours of receiving an order, with photos, and offers a refund or exchange only for preparation or quality faults.
Should you deliver or collect?
It depends on the occasion. Collection costs nothing extra and lets you choose the minute, but you collect from the outlet you ordered at. Delivery brings the pies to you, with a fee and a window. If you are weighing the two for a gathering, a comparison of pickup and delivery lays out the trade-offs, and the pie delivery guide covers fees and lead times across sellers.
Update, 8 October 2026. We checked the ordering site banner and FAQ on 3 October 2026 and the home page on 8 October 2026. Delivery terms have changed before and will change again, which is the reason this post does not quote a single fee. The authoritative figure is whatever the ordering site shows at checkout.
