Five places to find the pies

One restaurant on Tyrwhitt Road and four kiosks. Addresses, hours as published, what each sells and how to get there, as of 8 October 2026.

The short version

Chicken Pie Kitchen & Don Signature Crab has five outlets: the flagship at 39 Tyrwhitt Road, Jalan Besar, and kiosks at AMK Hub, Wisma Atria, White Sands and Tiong Bahru Plaza. Kiosks open 10am to 9pm daily, except Wisma Atria at 10.30am to 9.30pm. Crab is at Tyrwhitt Road, and a limited range is at AMK Hub.

How current are these hours?

We quote the hours as the kitchen publishes them on its contact page, which we read on 8 October 2026. Hours change for public holidays and festive periods, and the kiosks close earlier if they sell out, so check chickenpie.sg for today's hours before a long trip. To order ahead for any outlet, use buy.chickenpie.sg, and collect from the outlet you chose.

Restaurant

Tyrwhitt Road flagship (Jalan Besar)

39 Tyrwhitt Road, Singapore 207538

This is where the pies are baked and where the full crab range is cooked. It is a dine-in restaurant opposite Jalan Besar Stadium, and tables are booked through the kitchen’s reservation page. The kitchen says Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays need a small deposit, and that a VIP room is available.

The restaurant admits pet dogs, which the kitchen gives as one of its reasons for not seeking Halal certification. Seasonal menus, such as the Mother’s Day menus, have been marked as exclusive to this address.

  • Sunday to Thursday: 10am to 9pm (last order 8.30pm)
  • Friday, Saturday and the eve of a public holiday: 10am to 10.30pm (last order 10pm)

Crab

Dine-in restaurant, opposite Jalan Besar Stadium.

How to get there

  • About a 10 minute walk from Farrer Park (NE8), Lavender (EW11) or Jalan Besar (DT22) MRT stations, as published on chickenpie.sg.
  • Fifteen car park lots in front of the restaurant and more than 100 lots at Jalan Besar Stadium opposite.

Kiosk

AMK Hub kiosk

53 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, #B2-44, AMK Hub, Singapore 569933

The AMK Hub kiosk is the only kiosk with crab, and the range is limited to the Crab Bee Hoon Soup and the Crab Laksa Bee Hoon. Pies and cakes are the main business. There is no seating, so it is a takeaway stop.

For anyone who used to look for the kitchen in Toa Payoh, AMK Hub is the nearest current outlet, three stops north on the North-South Line.

Kiosk

Wisma Atria kiosk (Orchard)

435 Orchard Road, #B1-46, Wisma Atria, Singapore 238877

The Wisma Atria kiosk is the Orchard Road outlet and opens half an hour later, and closes half an hour later, than the other kiosks. It is a pie kiosk with no crab.

White Sands kiosk (Pasir Ris)

The White Sands kiosk is the outlet for the east. It is a pie kiosk with no crab, next to the supermarket in the basement of the mall at Pasir Ris.

Tiong Bahru Plaza kiosk

The Tiong Bahru Plaza kiosk is the newest on the ordering site, where it carries a new tag. We do not have its opening date, so we do not give one. It is a pie kiosk with no crab, and the only one with shared self-service seating.

Which outlet should I pick?

  • You want crab: Tyrwhitt Road for the full range, or AMK Hub for the soup or the laksa. The crab page has the dishes and prices.
  • You want to sit down: Tyrwhitt Road. Tiong Bahru Plaza has shared self-service seating, and the other kiosks have none.
  • You want a quick takeaway pie: the kiosk nearest to you, preferably earlier in the day since the kiosks close early if sold out.
  • You are ordering ahead: choose the outlet you will actually collect from. The kitchen's rule is that you collect from the outlet you ordered at, and orders cannot be amended or cancelled after payment.

Is any outlet halal?

No outlet is Halal-certified. There is no pork and no lard in the kitchen. The kitchen is not Halal-certified, and does not claim that any product is Halal. Read the kitchen's statement before you order, or see our post on the August 2026 review.
